Misys 2000 Manufacturing (Misys) is the MRP Manufacturing system
for ACCPAC users. Misys integrates fully with the ACCPAC General
Ledger, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Purchasing, Order Entry
and Inventory Control. It is the world's most economical and
easy to use manufacturing system for Windows. It has been designed
as a sensible alternative to the usual cumbersome and expensive
manufacturing management systems. It performs all the advanced
functions that small- to medium-sized manufacturing firms need
yet its familiar ACCPAC and Windows interface makes Misys ideal
for the non-technical user.
Misys is a modular system so you can start with Inventory Control,
Multi-level Bills of Material and Integrated Purchasing (Level
1) then advance to Manufacturing Orders, Master Production Scheduling
(MSP) and Material Requirement Planning (MRP1) in Level 2 before
expanding to higher levels for Serial/Lot Tracking, Shop Floor
Control and Capacity Planning when required - a full MRP2 solution.
Misys incorporates a turnkey Barcoding System (including hardware)
as an 'extra-cost' option. The hardware is a hand-held, battery-powered,
portable collection device (PCD) featuring keypad, 2 line LCD
display, bar reading wand and cabling. The software provides
for communication between the PCD and the host, printing of
barcoded labels, physical inventory and stock transfer functionality.
